| Under Uncategorized categories

You are looking for a new hire in your learning and training department. You phone some recruiters you know and are looking forward to them sending you resumes of all-star candidates. However, you are disappointed when they send you low-quality candidates or do
not seem to take your request seriously.

Use this free matrix to test your appeal of the role of the recruiter you hire. Rank each point on a scale of one to ten, with ten the best rating, one the worst. Add up your score, anything above 65 would mean a strong appeal. The higher appeal, the better engagement with a recruiter that will supply you with winning candidates.

1. You have worked with recruiters in the past.
2. My fee is not heavily discounted below what other recruiters charge.
3. You have not taken steps have you taken to fill the assignment yourself
4. You are offering to work with one specialized recruiter in your industry on this
assignment.
5. This role is of high urgency for you to hire
6. You are the decision maker for this hire.
7. You have a signed agreement and have agreed to the fee.
8. You have decided to meet with the candidate for lunch or breakfast after they have
turned in their resignation to his current employer.
9. You have agreed on time on your calendar to interview candidates, or have set a week to target set up meetings and will be available at that point.

Recruiters do not have control over people, only control over where they spend their time. I trust this tool will help you select a recruiter that will dedicate the time to locate winning talent
for your organization.
